Before candles I had a business providing mobile massage and beauty treatments to holidaymakers. In the winter we visited chalets the French Alps and in the summer in villas in Corsica and the Balearic Islands. I sold this business when my children were very small so I could become a stay at home mum. Having been based in France we relocated back home to Cumbria. I enjoyed a couple of years exploring different options before finally deciding to make candles, encouraged by Sally from Rosebery floral design who opened a beautiful shop underneath my house.
